RV inspections generally fall into two categories: Safety & Systems Assessment and Premier Assessment.

A Safety & Systems Assessment focuses on the components you'll rely on during everyday RV use, including electrical and plumbing systems, fresh water and waste systems, heating and air conditioning, appliances, and critical safety equipment such as smoke alarms, LP gas detectors, and carbon monoxide detectors.

A Premier Assessment includes everything covered in the Safety & Systems Assessment, then goes several steps further with a more comprehensive evaluation. In addition to the operation of all systems and safety components, it examines cosmetic condition like paint and finish quality, interior and exterior components for signs of wear or damage, and other details that can affect the RV's overall condition and value.

The price of each type of inspection depends on several factors, including the type and size of the vehicle, its age, and the scope of the assessment. A vehicle that is older or clearly very used may have more potential issues to consider, and a Premier Assessment will take longer to complete since it covers a much wider range of areas.
